“I believe God uniquely prepared me to serve on the Board of Willow Ranch Equine Assisted Counseling. I worked 18 years as a legal assistant and office manager at a law firm. Having volunteered for Pellow Outreach for several years, I learned a great deal about the operation of a nonprofit.
We are all given the chance to do good, whether we use that chance is completely up to us. I have watched Christa bring good to this world out of the most impossible of tragedy, the loss of one’s child. Her ability to love everyone is something to behold. It is my privilege to offer whatever assistance I can so that she can bless the lives of children and their families through Willow Ranch Equine Assisted Counseling.”

Joe Pellow

Joe Pellow is the Executive Director of Pellow Outreach, Inc. As the director of a very successful non-profit, Joe brings valuable experience and insight. Pellow Outreach has helped countless families and individuals find help in the battle to fight addiction. Joe is a certified life coach and has counseled and mentored hundreds of men.

Teresa Wiedenmann is a wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother of two wonderful grandsons. After a rewarding 30-year career as an educator, she retired with a deep appreciation for the relationships she built with students, families, and colleagues. A resident of Edmond for more than 30 years, Teresa enjoys gardening, embroidery, and spending time with her family, friends, and beloved pets.
Teresa is honored to support Willow Ranch Equine Assisted Counseling because of its deeply personal mission. As she shares, “I am honored to be working with Willow Ranch Equine Assisted Counseling because it represents something truly special. Founded by one of my dear friends in memory of her daughter, Jessica, who touched so many lives before she courageously battled cancer, Willow Ranch continues her legacy by bringing hope, healing, and encouragement to others.” Teresa is grateful for the opportunity to be part of an organization that honors Jessica’s memory while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
James Harold Mays

James Mays is a business manager with progressive responsibilities and extensive experience in operations, budgeting and finance, new product development, human and public relations, and communications. Expertise in healthcare and insurance industries.
He is currently the Director of Risk Manager Management Services at Fifth Avenue Physicians Services.
He has extensive experience in the field of healthcare and a background in the military U.S. Air Force and National Guard.
Christi Landis

Christi Landis is a wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother of two amazing granddaughters. She has dedicated her professional career to advocating for children with disabilities, working through nonprofit and state leadership roles to improve opportunities and outcomes for children and their families. Her passion for service and helping others has been a guiding force throughout her life and career.
A resident of Edmond for more than 20 years and an active member of Faith Bible Church, Christi is honored to serve on the Willow Ranch Board of Directors. She is inspired by the organization's mission of bringing hope, healing, and wellness through the power of the herd.
Willow Ranch holds special meaning for Christi because it honors Jessica's legacy. She is grateful to be part of an organization that transforms loss into purpose and creates opportunities for lives to be changed through compassion, faith, and connection.
